SB 1397: SB 1397 removes the provision that any clean water fee recommended by the Clean Water Commission cannot exceed five thousand dollars, and gives the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers rights to any water that flows into their reservoir. Lifting five thousand dollar maximum for any fees would provide much-needed funding for under-resourced permit programs and strengthen the commission's authority. Protect our water, and tell your senator and representative to vote YES on SB 1397.
